Working at St. Augustine’s can provide opportunities for personal and professional growth, the chance to make a positive impact in the community, and the potential for a fulfilling career.
There are various professional development opportunities, for all stages of career development, including an effective ITT and ECT professional studies programme, an Aspiring Leader’s programme, which is for any member of teaching or support staff, and externally recognised professional qualifications such as NPQs. We have a record of both internal and external promotion through the leadership development programme that we have provided at St Augustine’s.
We encourage regular feedback from all staff through surveys and act upon this. All Senior Leaders have an open-door policy. We are also part of the Employees Assistance Programme which provides confidential advice and support from counselling to financial advice. This is free of charge, anonymous and accessible to all staff members and their families.
